Full-Time Data Cleaning Specialist / Data Entry & Cleaning Expert

Job Description

We are looking for a data cleaning specialist to ensure our quality and data accuracy. Which can identify and correct errors, remove duplication, handle missing data, understand and optimize the formatting of data within the database, etc.
For this, we need candidates who have maximum knowledge about it. They have worked on as many tools related to it as possible. They also have expertise in it.
They can solve the biggest problem easily. Their way of working should be effective.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and correct inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and missing data.
  • Remove duplicate or irrelevant data to maintain database integrity.
  • Standardize data formats (e.g., date, currency, names, addresses).
  • Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize, structure, and categorize large datasets for easier processing.
  • Use automation tools (Excel macros, Python scripts, SQL queries) to streamline cleaning tasks.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand data quality needs.
  • Maintain documentation of data cleaning processes and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation) and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with SQL databases and writing queries for data management (preferred).
  • Knowledge of data cleaning tools like OpenRefine, Trifacta, or Python (Pandas, NumPy) is a plus.
  • Ability to handle large datasets and maintain data confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams.

Preferred Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in data entry, data cleaning, or data management.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, databases, or data analytics software.
  • That tools are Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio (optional).
