Full-Time Assistant Election Commissioner (BS-17)
Job Description
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is seeking dedicated, qualified, and motivated individuals to join as Assistant Election Commissioner (BS-17). This role plays a critical part in ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections across the country.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor election processes at regional/district levels.
- Coordinate with local administration, law enforcement, and polling staff.
- Ensure compliance with electoral laws and the Election Act, 2017.
- Prepare and update electoral rolls.
- Handle complaints and disputes during elections in accordance with law.
- Manage election-related logistics and field operations.
Eligibility
Qualification:
Any one fulfill
- M.A/M.Sc (2nd Division).
- B.A (Hons)/B.Sc (Hons), B.Com (Hons) (2nd Division), LLB (05 Years) (2nd Division).
- LLB (03 Years) (2nd Division) with two years service experience in any Government Organization.
- B.A/B.Sc (2nd Division) with two years service experience in any Government Organization.
Age Limit:
- 30 years(05 years upper age relaxation over and above the prescribed age of 30 years shall also be admissible).
Place of posting:
- Liable to serve anywhere in Pakistan.
